2018 Fall Breakfast

“Recovering from ACEs”

Our MCCF Fall Breakfast will be on

Saturday, October 27, 9-11 am

Rochester Academy of Medicine

1441 East Avenue 14610

Dr. Michael Scharf will present and respond to questions about

Identifying and ministering to those who suffer from the consequences of ACEs.

Material to be covered in the session:

  1. What are Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)?
  2. How can we become sensitive so that we can pick up the signs and symptoms that ACEs produce?
  3. Who is impacted? Those suffering may be young or older patients as well as providers themselves, their families, and members of their congregations.
  4. What are some effective ways that we, as caregivers, might be able to intervene constructively?
  5. General Q & A and discussion

We’re looking forward to a very edifying time, so mark your calendar and RSVP at www.grmccf.org/rsvp or contact Susan at 436-1628 (email susan@harpsongs.com) to sign up for the breakfast.

Feel free to invite and bring others, too.
