Fwd: RIT Outreach Series – Veritas Exchange

Hello all,

Thanks again for praying for David, his surgery went well and he went home the same day.  Continue to pray for a smooth and speedy recovery. We look forward to see him back in action soon.

A URMC faculty member requested that we pass along info about lecture series happening at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) called "What is Truth?: Searching for the Reality and Necessity of God". Some of you may be familiar with Intervarsity's Veritas Forums, an outreach ministry that invites experts in their field to discuss the relation between God and scientific/philosophical issues. This is one of those series! The weekly lectures will begin this Tues, Sept 20. They will continue on 9/27 and 10/4. Check out the attached flyer for full details.

If you're interested, this is a fantastic opportunity to invite non-Christian friends, even if you can only make it to one. It's a great way to open up a spiritual discussion, especially if you have trouble initiating them on your own.

What: Veritas Exchange lecture series, "What is Truth?: Searching for the Reality and Necessity of God"
When: Tuesdays @ 7pm – 9/20, 9/27, 10/4
Where: RIT Ingle Auditorium

— See attached flyer!

It's definitely worth checking out!

Hi,

I am a faculty member here at URMC and I am part of a ministry dedicated to reaching out to college university students and faculty.  We have a series coming  up at RIT that may interest you and your organization (see attached).

Hope you can make it out,
