Faith in Healthcare
MCCF has teamed with CMDA of Western NY to co-host a one-day retreat on August 25, 2018, from 8:30 am to 5 pm geared toward any and all healthcare professionals (students and residents welcome at no cost!) and those immersed in the medical fields (MDs, DDS, NPs, nurses, Pharmacists, PAs, counselors, therapists, admin/support staff, hospital chaplains, etc.) seeking to refresh, renew or explore faith and how it relates to their role as healthcare provider/advocate.
Family, friends, and people of all faiths or no particular faith are welcome to attend! All who are interested are invited. Please consider passing our invitation along to those you think may be interested. Continuing education credit is available for free for those who would like it.
Purposes:
- Help healthcare professionals and others grow in their connection with God (through prayer) and with one another (through fellowship, networking and friendship building).
- Enjoy some inspiration and learn about practical ways to incorporate faith into healthcare for the purpose of enhancing patient care.
