Parable of the Talents - URMCCF 09/08

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a restful weekend!

Last Monday we had an amazing discussion on our individual journeys to Christ and to the U of R.  It was really moving hearing how you all got you all got here. My biggest takeaways?

We all had different, perhaps straighter, plans for our lives, but God brought us all here, together, now -- haphazardly yet undeniably intentionally. It's kinda special. Now, we get to figure out why.

Also, most of us have wrestled with God. Whether we were born into Christian homes or journeyed to God from other places, we've all had to find God for ourselves. Perhaps this wrestle and this search is a rite of passage, not weird, not wrong. But necessary to finally see, what we've been looking for all along, we've always had.

Tomorrow, starting promptly at 6:30PM, I will be teaching us on the parable of the talents! As always, come through for rich and engaging fellowship!
